Denim Darling...

Hello everyone =)

I am here with my next fashion report on our favorite - Denims !

Before starting my post, I read this somewhere and its pretty interesting. Add some fashion gyan !

The word 'denim' comes from the name of a sturdy fabric called serge, originally made in Nîmes, France, by the André family. Originally called Serge de Nîmes, the name was soon shortened to denim. Denim has been used in America since the late 18th century.

Denim was traditionally colored blue with indigo dye to make blue "jeans", though "jean" then denoted a different, lighter cotton textile; the contemporary use of jean comes from the French word for Genoa, Italy (Gênes) where the first denim trousers were made.

I personally LOVE denims !

I am not sure if anyone ever created more stylish and comfortable style of clothing . Denims simply rock. They are old , vintage , classic and so famous that as a fashion reporter- trying -to- be- a fashion astrologer , I do not see it out of fashion for next 100 years !

 Its too hot to be true.. So for a lunch date with my girlies I picked up my denim shorts and a summer blazer . To add a lil oomph I wore the same with a vintage lace white top and a striking orange lipstick to balance out both the electric blues that I am wearing. My favorite color blocking trick was possible by matching the outfit with multi colored denim and leather bag and tan shoes. Do NOT get out without your sunglasses , sunscreen , wet tissues and a good face powder in your bag. ( please? )
